I Tried InnBeauty Project’s Extreme Cream Eye

Launching March 7 on the Sephora app and March 8 everywhere else, InnBeauty’s new Extreme Cream Eye Firming & Contouring Eye Cream is the first expansion of their Extreme Cream franchise. Ahead, learn everything there is to know about the new launch—including why it’s here in the first place.

The Inspiration

After watching the major success of the OG Extreme Cream Moisturizer (it launched in January 2024 and was “love at first swatch” here at Byrdie), InnBeauty Project decided to keep the party going… and create what’s “set to be the highest performance anti-aging eye cream on the market” along the way.

“It has all of the transformative firming and contouring results of Extreme Cream, now in a potent eye cream formula,” explains the brand. “The clinically effective eye cream addresses anti-aging concerns beyond wrinkles and fine lines—targeting loss of collagen and elastin, drooping and sagging, poor lymphatic drainage, and more.”

In clinical studies, the product offered a 90% increase in skin’s hydration after one application. Testers also found a 70% average reduction in wrinkle width after 12 weeks (up to 97%) and 39% average decrease in puffiness after 12 weeks (up to 80%).

The Formula

The eye cream features the same reverse emulsion formula that Extreme Cream is famous for (instead of featuring tiny oil droplets encapsulated in water, it reverses things and uses water droplets encased in oil droplets), so you can count on that immediate deep hydration and a luxe sensorial experience.

Other similarities include the anti-aging technology; ingredients like Acetyl Hexapeptide-8 and paracress extract target wrinkle length, depth, and width. Snow mushroom and glyceryl glucoside hydrate and nourish, while dumaflorine increases visible firmness and restores ceramide levels.
